‘மீன் அமிலம்’ தயாரிப்பது மிகவும் எளிது. மீன் விற்கும் இடத்தில் அல்லது நறுக்கும் இடத்தில் மீதப்படும் செதில், குடல், வால், தலை போன்றவைகளுடன் சம அளவு பனை வெல்லம் சேர்த்து… நன்கு பிசைந்து… ஒரு பிளாஸ்டிக் வாளிக்குள் மூடி வைக்கவேண்டும். இருப்பத்தைந்து நாள் கழித்து, எடுத்து நன்கு கலக்கினால் டானிக் தயார். இந்த வளர்ச்சி ஊக்கியே ‘மீன் அமிலம்’.
10 லிட்டர் நீருக்கு 100 கிராம் (மில்லி) கலந்து பயிரில் தெளித்தால், பயிர் பச்சை கொடுத்து செழித்து வளர்கிறது
